My Name is Mercedes Marie Morgan .

Born &* raised in Louisville, Kentucky .

I grew up in the Eastend of Louisville on a street called Marrett Avenue .

 

I was the only child until meeting my biological father (Chris Toler) at the age of 12 . Shortly after meeting him I found out I was the big sister to two very handsome little boys Brennden & Christopher Toler . (Also 2 years ago on May 9th 2013 my beautiful baby sister Carmen Toler arrived).

 

I was raised by my beautiful mother (Mary Johnson) & the man that raised me/ the man she was married to for 12 years (Kevin Morgan).

I didnt have alot growing up but I had enough, never could I ever complain about my childhood because I was truly blessed. I had food on the table every night & for that I am thankful! 

 

Growing up wasn't so easy for me as far as my household situation/ There were alot of fights & arguments that took place. I still til this day have not witnessed a stable home setting nor have I ever seen my parents together. That being said, I had alot of time on my hands to observe my surroundings. My mom signed me up for T-ball at the age of 5 at Germantown Baseball Park. I thank her everyday for doing that because it kept me busy, out of trouble & out of that house. 

I took softball very serious as I gotten older. I learned the game at a young age & mastered it all the way up until senior year of high school. After I graduated in 2011 from Southern High School, I started working & bought my very first car which was a 1999 Honda Accord. I then started to learn what responsibility was all about, I gained more bills but felt great about it because I was handling my business at a young age. 

 

May 31st 2012 I lost my best friend (Taylor Hobbic) due to suicide. This was the hardest thing I have ever went through outside of finding out the man I was calling dad my whole life wasn't my biological father. Loosing her was the most painful encounter my heart has ever had to expierence. She was not only my best friend, she was the sister I never had. The sister that was there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to, the sister that showed me the true meaning of loyalty & the sister that was down for me no matter what the situation was. This is to whom my sleeve is dedicated towards. Rest in piece Taylor Jean Hobbic (8-7-93 - 5-31-12). From that point on I felt as if I was alone in this world, because nobody had the love or loyalty for me as she did. Taylor & I were very close to this girl we both met during 6th grade of middle school at Highland middle, her name is Alexis Stetson. Over the past couple of years I have become very close to her due to the fact she was the next closest person to me. She now plays a huge role in my life & is the ONLY friend I have that I know I can trust. 

 

The last cuple of years of my life I have taught myself how to become a "Lady". I have always been into sports so I haven't had much time to focus on dressing up or being "girly" because I was always in a pair of softball cleats or Nikes haa! So basically I was that pretty tomboy chick lol. As I transformed myself into a young woman I started to become aware of my physique. I realized I had nice long hair, nicely shaped legs, toned stomach & a round booty lol! Even though growing up people use to make fun of me because they said I had "big arms" & a deep voice so they always said "She sounds like a man". For a long time I always had a low self-esteem because of that! So, One day I went out & bought myself the sexiest dress & the tallest heels I could find! And what do you know I SHUT IT DOWN that night! Haa. I have never received that many compliments or have felt that much love in my life then I did that night. Thanks to god being on my side I over came that negativity & stopped worrying about what others thought of me. 

 

This has all made me into the woman I have become today! I am now a very observing, smart, intellegent, confident & out-going young lady with a YOUnique personility that I wouldn't change for the world, because that is what makes me YOUnique! My apperance, my intellegence, my personility & my voice is what makes me different from everyone else! Life is what has made me come up with the name of my boutique! 

 

I hope that you all enjoy my merchandise , the background on who I am as an individual & respect me for who I am & where I come from! I am the perfect example as to why you should NEVER judge a book by its cover. You never know what someone has been or may still be currently going through in life, so dont be so quick to think negatively about someone that you dont even know. Because you could be very wrong! Most people think that I was just born beautiful with the perfect body. Not at all, I have had braces, glasses, sports, several depressed nights, & hidden pain to become who I am today!
